I have always wanted to study abroad but I was worried I would get home sick or wouldn't like it. I did get a little homesick but with there being so much to do and explore, I quickly got over it! It was the best decision I ever made and I made some great friends while I was there. Definitely reccommend to anyone thinking about it!

Best 3 months of my life!

When I studied abroad at Perrotis College, it was the first time I had ever traveled solo and the first time I had ever been out of the country. It was also the first time anyone in my extended family had gone to Europe. I had an incredible time there and learned more about the world in those three months than I did the entire pervious 20 years of my life. I enjoyed almost all of my classes when I was in Greece. My favorite was Diary Technology because I was able to learn about the production of many different dairy products using the facilities at the college. It was interesting to see the differences in production between Europe and the U.S. This class helped to cement my love for the dairy industry, and I will be pursuing a career in that in the future. I also loved my new product development course. With my major being Culinary food science, it was really fun to get to learn a little about marketing and to have a final project to create a new food product. I also loved the Greek Culture and Experience class. In that class, I was able to learn so much about Greek culture, and the cultural immersions were the whole reason why I wanted to study abroad. I love to learn about different cultures. We went to Meteora, Athens, and Nauossa during our trips. We also got to go to do a cooking class, learn traditional Greek dancing, and learn the Greek Language. The people at Perrotis are incredible. The teachers are all very nice, and the students are so fun. I not only got to meet and learn from Greek students, but also students from multiple African countries and other Balkin countries. I also love that if you want to, you are able to interact with any age of students from preschoolers to grad students. I will never forget my experience studying abroad at Perrotis College.

Perrotis does a great job at allowing you to immerse in the Greek Culture and really learn by experience. The entire program is very hands on and has a lot of cultural activities for you to participate in.
